| WELCOME BACK BIG FRANK!!! | ||
| Even with the big man on vacation (LOL) for awhile we still enjoyed many events throughout the summer!! Darkside staff participated in Benny Birches 25th Anniversary, N.O.C.C 's 6th Annual Car Show, and our own Darkside Annual Drive and Ride for charity. (This years was for the Alzheimer Society Thunder Bay!) | ||
| Also this summer the shop was extremely busy with with oil changes, tire changes (we do have a tire machine and balancer in house!!), as well as the normal day to day repairs. Not to mention, of course, the helmet, clothing, part and accessories. | ||

Darkside is definitely a family affair as you can tell by our youngest staff member to the left. Our main objective is not to put as many choppers on the road as we can but to build some really hot rides for some really great people!! Not strictly bikes either!! Being that we are Big Franks playground we build choppers, repair older bikes, build drag cars, build 4X4's and even have converted a forklift in to a sleek, flamed member of the vehicle world!! |

| BUILDING Season has begun again (though it never really stopped this summer!!) | ||
| If you've never been to Thunder Bay then let me take a moment to explain, to give you an idea of how we think. In the winter it's cold. DAMN COLD. So cold in fact that my dog no longer thinks himself a dog but instead seems to have confused himself with the local wildlife. | ||

Our
crew, on the other hand, deal with the cold weather in a different way.
Forget whining about the weather.
The cold, bitter winds and extremely deep snowfalls only
encourage them to do what they do best-- Head for the 'heated' garage to
build the big ,bad beasts they'll be riding in the summer.

| Lastly, we would like to take one quick moment to say that we are in this business NOT to corner the market---NOT to crush the competition--NOT for the mighty dollar--But simply for the fact that we LOVE bikes! We LOVE building bikes! We LOVE riding bikes! Through this shop we hope we can help riders (and those of us who still only perch on the fenders!! lol) to find all they need to make the riding season a safe and super one. | ||
