DARKSIDES 3RD ANNUAL DRIVE 'N' RIDE This years Drive 'N' Ride was as always a great success! As always we have jto pay a special thank you to all the people who were kind enough to take time out of their busy schedules to attend! I need to especially thank those that not only showed up but were kind enough to put in their time to help run and host this event! Lastly, Id just like to thank all of our sponsers without whom we could not have maintained our success!
The money raised in this years event was donated to the Thunder Bay Health and Sciences Center Renal Unit in memory of Kevin Willis Rouse 10/56 - 03/07. |

THE DEVIL MADE US DO IT!!!!!!!!
Darkside would like to announce that is owners have now officially done the deed! On October 30, 2006 (Devils Night) Frank and Terra have officially made Frank and Terra Magisano! Don't worry or be insulted that you weren't invited to the wedding as nobody was!!! BUT do know that we will have a reception in the upcoming weeks!

| Obviously, I'm partial to this event as it's our own at our shop! This years Drive 'N' Ride was a great success! All the funds raised this year were donated to the Alzheimer Society in the name of and in memory of Guiseppe D'Agazio who passed away earlier this year. We had a wonderful turnout. The chrome glistened under the sun! Darkside would like to thank all those who came out to participate, all our great volunteers, as well as those who sponsored this event. |

| I'd also ESPECIALLY like to thank those (you know who you are) who came in the last week to help get everything running and ready so this event was one to be truly proud of!! I can't express my appreciation enough. (Y'all made me cry! lol) Mind you not as bad as when a certain woman kicked my ass in the gladiator ring!!!!!!! |

| This summer we're hoping to host a swap-meet right
here in Thunder Bay. After
attending others around the country we think that this is most definitely
an event that would be a real asset to the riding community of Thunder
Bay. We also think that our
area has been missing the "Darkside Choppers Inc. Swap Meet" for too long
and hope it will be and awesome opportunity to bring together all bike
enthusiasts--old schoolers--rookies--racers--and trikers alike.
As well as an excellent chance to find some great deals, swaps,
and trades. |

| Motorcycle training course or biker boot camp? |
The Motorcycle course held at Confederation College is a definite for old schoolers and newbies
alike. I took this course this summer at the end of August. The
weekend I took this course there was a variety of riders--some older, some
younger, some experienced for years just there for a refresher, as well as
me--a super greenhorn!! I myself am as new as you can get! (I've never
even driven a car!!! If you just raised your eyebrows think of how my
poor instructors felt!!) This course starts with a Friday evening
lecture (extremely informative!!!) Get a good night sleep because you
are up and rolling first thing Saturday morning!!! This is when you
get right down to business! Within the first 10 minutes you are there
you are pushing a motorcycle across the parking lot to get ready to ride!
This is just the beginning! Through out the weekend you practice and
complete about a zillion different training exercises. This course really
covers it all, right down to things you should do before even starting your
bike---F.I.N.E._C.!!!(This
is a term that I will NEVER forget in my
lifetime--those of you who have taken this course will know exactly what I'm
talking about!) Other skills covered are normal braking , emergency braking,
highway entrance, highway exit, starting and stopping on a hill, and much
much more! The course really focus' on safe yet defensive motorcycle
operation as well as the simple tips to maintain and keep your bike in good
running condition! It runs through the Saturday and Sunday. Let me
assure you they are definite full days! By the time these instructors
are through you'd swear that you'd been to BIKER BOOT
CAMP! LOL! |
| By the end of the weekend I was exhausted! I found muscles I never knew even existed!!! But it was all worth it when they handed me the envelope which held the completed paperwork to go and get my M2!!! |

Hats off to the instructors (thanks guys!!!) whose commitment, positive attitudes, and PATIENCE really made this course excellent!!! If they can teach me how to drive then they MUST be good.---NO - WAIT - not good- GREAT!!! |

| Northern Ontario Classic Cruisers 6th Annual CAR Show |
| Darkside Choppers Inc. attended Chippewa Park for this fantastic event! (This is becoming my personal favorite event every summer!) Everyone who attended had a fabulous time! The best part of this event as always was the muffler rapping!! We love it loud!! Take out the baffles boys!!!! As always there were a lot of super hot rides! It was a gorgeous day and a blast was had by all!! Thanks to the N.O.C.C for a great day and a super show! |

| Darkside Choppers Inc. was pleased as always to be included in any fundraising event when the proceeds go to such great causes! Especially when it means we get a chance to show off our new toys! All the money raised from this event is used to purchase furniture and equiptment fo;r the residents of Bethammi Nursing Home at St. Joeseph's Heritage. A special thanks to the folks from the N.O.C.C (Northern Ontario Classic Crusiers) for inviting us to join them in this event! |

| Darkside Choppers Inc. would like to give a shout out to everyone who attended the pig roast in Souix Narrows. We all had a really great time!! How could you not when they had 65 door prizes including a gorgeous $30,000 bike as the last prize!!! If you weren't there then you definitely missed out on an awesome pig roast, not to mention the cool sounds that came from the rockin' bands that graced the stage that night!!!! It was great to meet the boys from Selkirk, Manitoba! (Hey Y'all!!!) So I guess all that leaves me to say is a big thanks to the organizers from The Last Resort for one hell of a great weekend. |
